DUBOIS BUILDING COMPANY

Established as Chris Carpentry in 1997 in Equinunk, Pennsylvania. Since then the company has evolved from a handy man type operation with one employee to a company known for quality homes and remodels with a tight group of skilled dedicated employees. DuBois Building Company has grown by creating an environment within the organization based on quality relationships within the company, within the community and between the homeowner and builder. These relationships begin with quality people and the result is a project that is special to the homeowner and to the people who created it.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Each project begins with the homeowner as an idea, a desire to create something beautiful, something permanent, and something useful. We build on that idea and bring it to life with an admiration and respect for the past and the materials and building techniques that have stood the test of time along with modern innovations in quality building construction techniques and materials. It has never been about the bottom line. We approach each project not with the next 25 years in mind but with the intent of creating a legacy that could last a century.

OUR PRACTICE

Our Philosophy dictates Our Practice. Using insights gained from a wealth of practical experience each phase of every project is approached with the next phase in mind. The first phase of every project begins with the construction of a quality builder/homeowner relationship. From there a quality excavation which yields a quality foundation; yielding a quality frame; yielding a quality wall finish…etc. This understanding has led to the assembly of a top of the line team of tradesmen all with the same commitment to doing it right and doing it for you, the homeowner. This sense of teamwork makes building something special second nature.
